From the creative mind of internationally acclaimed artist and designer Alessandro Mendini the Glace (light) bench is the unquestionable focal point of any space to which it is added. Produced by leading Italian manufacturers Slide this sculpture like bench is characterised by geometric faces, the differing inclinations of which creating perspectives that vary according to the viewing point. This versatile and modular piece can be used as a bench when placed horizontally or unique room divider when positioned vertically.
Manufactured from polyethylene using a cutting edge rotational moulding technique the Glace (light) bench can be illuminated internally ensuring it will literally light up the space around it. For added versatility and ease of use the internal lighting feature of this bench features an absolute minimum of wiring and is simple to install. Although supplied with an EU style plug, an EU to UK adapter is provided. It does, however, require three E27 (25w) light bulbs which are not supplied.
Please note that a Glace bench is also available separately without the lighting option.
